Apex Legends - Battle Royale (Duos)

Welcome!
This is a World Wide Ladder. There are no individual regions specified. Please feel free to join a team, or create one, and get into the competition!

Players are advised to include their Origin / EA App / PlayStation / Xbox Gamertag within their team profile to assist players finding each other.

To ensure both fairness and genuine activity, a Team may consist of up to 20 players. Of those members, only two players are required to play at a time. IF BOTH TEAMS AGREE, teams may play with 2 players per squad. Both teams must field the same number of players for the match to be valid.

Gamertags are case sensitive. Please ensure you include the correct handle within your team profile.

Setting Up a Custom Match
1. One team must create a Custom Game.
2. Go to the Lobby and click the Custom Game tab.
3. Set the mode to Battle Royale.
4. Set Squad Size to Duos.
5. Invite all players using the in-game invite system.
6. Once everyone has joined, the host starts the match.

Best of 3 Matches
The team with the most total points at the end of the session wins that map. Points are calculated using Placement + Kills. If there is a tie in total points, the team with the highest kill count wins the map. The first team to win 2 out of 3 maps wins the match.

Mode & Maps
Battle Royale – Duos
All maps currently in rotation are allowed unless otherwise specified. Both teams must agree on the map before starting. If no agreement is reached, the map will be chosen randomly by the game.

Weapon & Loot Restrictions
All weapons and attachments currently available in the selected map are allowed. No custom loot pool restrictions unless both teams agree beforehand.

In-Game Restrictions
Third Party / Stream Sniping: Not allowed. Teams caught intentionally stream sniping or third-partying based on stream information will forfeit the map.
Teaming: Strictly forbidden. Any evidence of two teams working together will result in both teams forfeiting the match and potential removal from the ladder.
Exploits / Glitches: Use of known game-breaking exploits or glitches is not allowed. Matches involving exploits may be replayed or forfeited depending on severity.

MATCHES & POINTS
Just for participating, you will receive 1 point for every successfully completed map. A win awards 3 points to the winning team. The goal is to accumulate more points than every other team on the ladder.

HOSTING
The hosting team is responsible for creating the Custom Game and ensuring all settings are correct before starting. Hosting with incorrect settings will result in a forfeit of that map.

DELAY BETWEEN MAPS
Teams may not delay the match for more than 5 minutes between each map. A map is defined as one full Battle Royale game from drop to end of match.

TIE GAME
If a map ends in a total points tie, the map will be replayed with the same legend pool and starting conditions.

LAG / CONNECTION ISSUES
If a player experiences severe lag or disconnects, the affected team must finish the map. Proof (video showing ping spikes or disconnect) must be submitted via support ticket within 30 minutes of match completion for review. The ladder admin will make the final decision on whether the map is replayed or stands.

DISCONNECTIONS
If a player disconnects before the first ring closes and before any kills have occurred, the map should be restarted if both teams agree.
If a player disconnects after the first ring closes or after kills have occurred, the remaining players must continue the match. The disconnected player may rejoin if possible.
If a team fully leaves the match due to a disconnection without attempting to continue, they forfeit the map.

NO SHOWS
A team has 10 minutes from the scheduled match time to have all required players ready and in the Custom Game lobby. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit.

If a team does not show, the opposing team must submit a support ticket within 45 minutes of the scheduled time with proof (screenshot of empty lobby or chat) to claim the no-show win.
