EA Sports FC 26 - 5v5 / 3v3 (Next-Gen & PC)
Welcome!
This is a World Wide Ladder for
PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC players. Cross-play between these platforms is allowed.
Players are advised to include their
PlayStation / Xbox / EA ID / Steam Name within their team profile to assist players finding each other.
To ensure both fairness and genuine activity, a Team may consist of up to 20 players. Of those members, only the required number of players for the match need to play at a time. Both teams must field the same number of players for the match to be valid.
Display names are case sensitive. Please ensure you include the correct name within your team profile.
Setting Up a Private Match
1. One player (the host) must create a
Private Match, Online Friendlies, or Clubs private match.
2. Make sure Cross-Play is enabled.
3. Set the game to either
5v5 or
3v3 (must be agreed upon by both teams before the match).
4. Set half length, difficulty, and other settings as agreed.
5. Invite all opposing players using the in-game invite system or EA Connect / party.
6. Once everyone has joined and is ready, the host starts the match.
Best of 3 Matches
The team that wins the game (higher score at the end of regulation or extra time/penalties if applicable) wins the map. The first team to win 2 out of 3 games wins the match.
Mode & Settings
5v5 / 3v3
Both teams must agree before the match whether to play
5v5 or
3v3. Once agreed, the format cannot be changed mid-series unless both teams consent.
Standard rules for the chosen format apply. Both teams must also agree on:
- Half length
- Difficulty (if applicable)
- Game settings (offsides, bookable offenses, etc.)

LAG / CONNECTION ISSUES
If a player experiences severe lag or disconnects, the affected team must finish the game if possible. The ladder admin will make the final decision on whether the game is replayed or stands.
DISCONNECTIONS
If a player disconnects early in the game, the game may be restarted if both teams agree.
If a player disconnects later in the game, the remaining players must continue. The disconnected player may rejoin if possible.
If a team fully leaves the match without attempting to continue, they forfeit the game.
NO SHOWS
A team has
10 minutes from the scheduled match time to have all required players ready and in the Private Match lobby. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit.
If a team does not show, the opposing team must submit a support ticket within
45 minutes of the scheduled time with proof (screenshot of empty lobby or chat) to claim the no-show win.
